On this blue sky
morning
I offer up my
prayers
for a friend
trying to
stay alive
begging for one more ..........
..........chance for
a few more
days...or weeks or months
to live
To the spirit
overhead
I beg
let him
let him, stay awhile
let him live
for this I ask
