A frosty affair.
Frostbite I didn’t expect so soon,
If at all, but that is what happens, if you moon,
Delicate that, and those precious little, you know what,
Furthermore, only two I got,
Usually they are in heat,
That is why, they freeze with such speed,
Said the doc, dear me, there is enough there for you and me,
Stop worrying yourself, said he,
None of this was meant to help,
In my nightmares I did yelp,
My worries were those little squirrels’ habit,
Collecting nuts for little Miss Babbitt,
Who’d thought frost of all things?
Such hardship it brings,
That’s what you get, when you just out of bed,
Out, bare-assed in the cold, with no pants on yet,
It could’ve been worse, said the surgeon, his face in a grin,
A late circumcision will leave enough skin,
Join the rest of the tribe of the east,
Be among us with the least,
Who he was kidding, I thought,
His statement with chutzpah was fraught,
Math I said, not your strongest point, I bet,
From twenty eight, take two, makes twenty six instead,
He wielded the scalpel, this is for me, and this is for you,
Ask the rabbi to bless it, and join your new crew.
No problem there, or with the poetry.
