I mean really!
With laughter’s tears I weep,
Of what I said, such mirth would reap,
I said with tongue in cheek,
A whim of fancy flight,
Would bring me such delight,
And give the other so much fright,
It seems, to me at least,
You want to gore an ugly beast,
Bring a sharp knife to the feast,
Some dullard though, no whetstone had,
To sharpen up his wit, a tat,
He brought instead a bat,
Strike three the umpire called,
As words flew by him, as he stalled,
Stuttered, and then balled,
My friend, if hurting me, is your intend,
Your plans I will upend,
And your mighty egos bend,
Joust with me in word and deed,
With good humour will I read,
All your verbiage seed,
You may poke my armour weakest link,
And here and there remove a chink,
But, don’t stick me, with a knife you fink,
My lancet staffs is horned strong,
Will gore you, where sweet horns belong,
Right in your bonky bonk.
If this not clear enough my friend,
I’ll bonk you in the end,
That’s what I really meant.
