Na, it's not life threatening, it's an inconvience, but if you miss me posting, just in case it gets worse, you know I'm out back doing my thing ha

For a pee I went around the corner,
Letting it all hang out, the ground was cold,
The night pitch black,
There in the far corner of my eye,
Red laser lights I spy,

Quickly I dispose, unwind, and hide,
Midstream and all, I zippered up,
Followed light beams everywhere,
Red they were, all of them, straight and narrow,
Shooting at me like an arrow,

Panic, and then in haste, I flee,
From in behind that tree,
Still these beams of light,
The instigator out of sight,
From nowhere did they come,

Flying saucers what I thought,
I looked up at the sky,
Like unbelievers ought,
But alas, no sightings anywhere,
The sky was dark and bare,

This neighbour lady often said,
She watches me around the shed,
I thought she wouldn’t be,
God no, from up the balcony,
Na, it’s twelve she’s gone to bed,

Who the funny guy I thought,
Still up this time of night,
And then a glimpse I caught,
My eye turned to the right,
Aha, now I know, it’s me! I see!

Regaled and cajoled from authority above,
My very own, my worry ward my love,
Go the doc, and have it seen she said,
Tell him you’re seeing red,
And so I trundled off to see my pal,

And how are you he said,
Your wife, she says, you’re seeing red,
Did the bills come in, your taxes?
I love it when he witty waxes,
You know I’m no accountant,

Thirty seven year were friends,
And all he says look up, look down,
Read that chart, his big spyglass wears a frown,
How many fingers have I got?
With his, my eyes does blot,

Funny guy I said, let’s stick with seeing red,
And then with sadness mimicked in his voice,
I’m sorry, but must I tell the truth,
You passed your prime your youth,
Something has detached it seems,

What a relieve, for next time when red I’m seeing,
In fear of spies, I’ll not my pants be peeing,
But folks I have to tell you this,
If ever you my writings miss,
You’ll know, I’ve gone out back, gone for a piss,©24/11/2009

Weeny wavin' is a dangerous haven
At least outside beside the shed
I might suggest you fly the banner
With your wife atop your bed...

Or the kitchen table, or the couch....

I hope your eye is repairable. Patrick

Jasmin,
For a while you had me thinking little green men had come to take a sample, I hear they're into human waste these days....what else have we to offer? To the poem and you, be careful how you go, my friend, and where, and thanks for the laugh.

John

Wow - I had the same problem, so I had to move. Now me and me mutts can pee wherever we want!

And I hope your eye problems are resolved.
