How do you do?
Sitting on the fence watching me,
as I look out at you.
You seem to know I see you,
even though I don’t come outside.
You sit there strutting your beauty
with such spirited pride.
You sing such a pretty song,
and I know it won’t be long,
till the warm weather comes along.
Then I can come out and listen to you
since you seem to like having me near.
So your wonderful chirping sounds
will be easier for me to hear.
You are so friendly and faithful
that you come by every year.
It is strange how you know, exactly when to appear.
It is like you can read my mind, to know,
when I will look out the window.
The beauty of your colors,
for me, you are there to show.
Beautiful Robin Red Breast, you are one of God’s favorite things.
And I think he sends you to see me every year,
because he knows how much joy,
your appearance brings.
I adore robins they remind me of my mother now passed on....

I like this poem very much, particularly as I'm very much into all wildlife and nature. I see by your bio that you are very much into the world of spirits and guides. I am a Reiki healer, and I also love Tarot cards, although I'm just a novice and don't pretend to know an awful lot about them, although I do a reading for myself from time to time. It's strange how I picked your name at random, almost as though I felt I had to contact you. A cousin of mine is also a Medium, and another is good with the Tarot cards, so it seems to be a family trait. Have you read my short story about the tarot cards? I have to warn you that it is a crime story, and not my usual theme, but you know how it is when something seems to guide you to do things, even if you don't really want to.
