The beauties of winter are a great sight to see,
as the layers of snow falling
covers the pine trees.
The snowflakes are so big and fluffy too
you can nearly see through them and catch another view,
of what is inside them and on the other side too.
The kids are out playing and riding their sleds
and are having so much fun that even if they are cold
they don't want to stop playing to come in and go to bed.
As I sit in my home by the cozy warm fire
I am in awe of the white beauty that is laying out there.
The layers of the snow on the ground lights up the night
and is so bright it looks almost like daylight.
I look at the wonder and beauty of it all
and wonder how many people living afar have never seen a snowfall.
They have no idea of the beauty they have missed
because when the snow touches the ground,
it makes one feel like heaven and earth have just kissed.
