What do you say
when the words
have all been cried out
when the ending
is only a hundred times
worse than you'd expected
there are no words left in this heart
there is no room for reparation
just this dull ache in my head
and flashes of memories
i would just as soon burn
they told me
"He's not the one.
He's served his purpose, move on."
but what fool...
tries to reason with a broken heart
I look at these walls and wonder
If I'll ever see them again
Will I keep my promise never to disappear
Or will I try to save what is left of me
I think that it's been said already so I'll just say that I am always serious about reading your work and the levels that it takes me. Janet xoxoxoxoxo
The only thing worse than friends who are wrong is friends who are right (the advice is just as unwelcome, and then there's the crow souffle we must eat when they are proven right...)

Sounds like you're not having a fun time. I'm sorry. Unfortunately, friends sometimes have a way of pouring salt into a wound that needs "time" to heal by not knowing when to be present, but quiet. The bad thing (or good, for that matter) is that they usually mean well - but it doesn't really help. Oh, by the way, great work. It portrays a feeling none of us want to feel. See, I just did it too - not knowing when to keep quiet. Great work. I already said that, didn't I?
