I, too, like the snow. Sadly, we don't get much in Albuquerque, New Mexico. However, there's a chill in the air that makes me glad I can get by with a sweater during the day. The desert nights are cold, though. Light the fire and snuggle. A winter delight.

Love this sweet cold blistery feeling you left Amber "V"!
Atleast we had Christmas snow blanketing the ground, The WHITE STuff!
I love how you added,I long to skate on the local pond,
to watch my breath as I move around,
but its still warm here in New England
I cannot believe this warmth abound - Chilly and a Longing welcome!
Maybe next year or Next week! :)
I still love NEW ENGLAND and her changing beauty!
I think you inspired a poem in me, let's seeeeeee ---

well to ask for a storm is bold-hope you got your wish-tho I ride a 17 speed Bike I don't skate-now that is a revelation for a Canuck eh??LOL

A Beautiful Wish for snow on christmas day.....Amber
I've seen a Christmas day T'was 60 degrees back in 1963,
there was no global warming then, nor was it an El Nino cycle, it was just plain old nature, when this world wishes to rid itself of us, it will shake us off it's back like a wet dog shaking water off.

Merry Christmas, Amber, even though visions of snowballs are dancing, they aren't out there...have to imagine, instead. Texas doesn't usually get snow. Oh, well...tonight's meteorologist said that New Year's could be very interesting. :) Only a week late, but that's how it is here!
