For some reason, I always feel just a bit closer to God when I'm talking with Him while looking at the stars. This morning was even more special while doing just that and immediately watching the sunrise from behind the mountains while standing on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. What a wonderful world God has given us. I pray you all have a very Merry Chistmas, my friends. May God bless you forever and always.
Woke this morning before sunrise,
Arose and got right out of bed;
Rested again thanks to Your love,
Ready for this new day ahead.
Wanting to see the sun come up,
Got dressed... took my dog, Luv, outside; Went with her right down to the shore,
It wasn't very long a ride.
All of Your blessings amazed me,
The stars shining brightly above;
The sacrifice of Your own Son,
Proves to me just how much You love.
Thank You, my Lord for this new day,
For the sunrise over the lake;
All the blessings You send my way,
Are so very easy to take.
Lord, may I ask a foolish question?
Can I do something special for You?
Nothing that I can do on my own,
Will ever be worthy of all You do.
