A branch did fly right off a tree
A gust of wind just set it free
Across the rainy sky it flew
A kite in flight that nature grew
No longer attached to home
Had it stayed it might of grown
Landing hard upon the ground
All alone no trees around
Its shaft find fertile soil
Sprouts a root that digs and coils
And now where once a sapling stood
A forest stands proud and good
And when nature finds the time is right
Another branch will take its flight
A cycle that we know as life

This flows so well, and the meaning is so great, loved it.
A book of nature inspired poems and essays, written from the heart and soul of a life-long nature, animal, and wilderness lover, and dedicated to today’s children - Earth's only hope for a better tomorrow.
