A Blonde Brain

My mind went out to play

Slipped out my ear as if it was a vent

And apparently enjoyed its day

I don’t know where it went

I was too afraid it would stay

It came back this evening about nine

Humming to itself

Looked at me and said “I’m fine!”

Looking like a naughty elf.

Without a thought of how I’d deal

Without a mind to think or feel

I guess it knew

I’d be fine too

You are good. You see with satire eyes, write with a joyous jargon and feel with impetuous zeal.
I, however, do not trust my brain so I put it on a leash.

Original idea for sure! Had to click on this because of the title. Surprised I didn't see it post last week. You see things in an unusual way--I thought that of you.

And apparently enjoyed its day

That seems to happen to me more and more these days, and I say, Bon Voyage!

I like it, to be able to laugh and share fun of oneself is a great gift and this "blonde" poem is a good way of doing just that.
