Once in a while we need to take off our serious hat. When I do this I get lost in puns. Here's what I mean.
I’ve wondered about our g-love affair.
It seems it’s not going anywhere.
I really underwear you are tonight
I’m s-mitten by the things that make us fight .
Where do I fit in?
You skirt the issues when our thoughts collide.
You shoe me off just because you decide.
You give me no night-cap, not even a belt
Of cors-et is true you don’t care how I felt.
Where do I fit in?
You chase me until I breathe in short pants
and then you chase all my favorite aunts.
“s-leeve me alone” you yell at me too much
and you sock it to me with a big punch.
Where do I fit in?
I get my ascot running out your door
You treat me like a croc, which I abhor
You never flipflop, you’re always the same.
Once I’m with you I’m sorry I came
Where do I fit in?
Well suit yourself if that’s the way things are
I’ll walk down the steps and get in my car.
To talk of a makeup just makes me blush
your lips gloss over it in a big rush.
Where do I fit in?
