Needing to Go

I think we've all been there. The tables have turned from when my children kept wanted bathroom stops while we were traveling. Now I'm the one who needs to stop often.

When I was young I believed
I could drive and not be relieved.
Now I’m older it seems to me
I more quickly need to pee.

It seems rest stops on the road
Are there to help empty my load.
Active kidneys and weak bladder
Make my travels so much badder.

Kids used to shout “Dad let’s stop!”
Now I’m the one about to pop.
“Hold it” seems different to me
When I’m the one needing to pee.

Hang in there, us women who have had babies know the deal LOL

Oh Larry! Oh Larry, I am blessed with a bladder holding a gallon or so without sending messages to stop, but when I do stop I hear laughs and questions like, "you got a leak?" and more laughs, until long time after I finish and ask for another Coors.

The Tables Have Indeed Sadly Turned for me, as well. But I'm real glad I ain't too shy to pee outside with me dogs, when I have to. I think they might even admire me for that; but my wife, however, is another story!
