An Ugly Toupee

My computer's been down. I celebrate having it by sharing this poem about men who wear cheap toupees.

I saw a guy the other day
whose hair I thought would blow away.
His wig seemed to be falling down
which made him look just like a clown.

Like him, I have lost all my hair
but I don’t pretend it’s still there
and seeing someone with a wig
makes me think of a pampered pig.

A pig that’s been soaked in a tub
and bathed then given a big rub.
With a ribbon tied on its neck
making it really look like heck

No combing hair over for me
or transplants that cost a great fee.
I am really quite at home
with my smooth and shiny dome.

I don't know, Larry, but even an ugly toupee could at least keep your head warm in winter...;-) Ed

Hi Larry, I don't know why, but I picture Rod Blogoyavich when I read this. I don't even know if he wears a toupee, but it sure looks like it...maybe it was this part.."His wig seemed to be falling down
which made him look just like a clown." LOL Funny write..

I think pigs are much smarter than we are - I've never seen one single pig wearing a wig!

After Charlie kind of grazed the top of my head with a dirty bulled (we were far far into enemy lines, no ER there) and kind of infected the top of my balloon, I started and after awhile lost about 90% of my top manly mane (LOL) The idea of wearing a toupee makes me think about putting a long haired chihuahua there, and I don't even like tacos! (fajitas are OK)

I laughed! As a balding man who shares your same view I notice bad toupees too and think for a second and then say.."Nah, I coudn't do that!". Same with whispy comb-overs on windy streets (where the guy suddenly jerks his head to avoid fly-aways.) Very witty and funny!!
I was in a Panera Bread store and an older guy came in with a jet black pompadore style toupee with his greying hair sticking out the back. I think he was 5ft 4 and also had elevator shoes and gold chains...lots of bling! I actually got scared and stayed 10 yards from him because it was that ridiculous I was worried about his mental state. Baseball hats are the way to go!!
