I'll be here awhile today Sweetie, I'm sorry! It's so important to me to feel others feelings and I don't do it enough! Instead I listen to my muse and write what is brewed!
This poem matched my memories for last week!
right down to the Hot chocolate with mini marshmellows and my Grand daughter! 7yrs.
WE are still loving the cold and snow, but not blustery now!

I am about 35 minutes from the snowy sierra mountains here in northern California but I have yet the itch to go see it as I cannot tolerate the cold well...although your write makes it seem so enticing there. Great expression in this piece.

Much the same here on Long Island N.Y. Weatherman was wrong. I wonder about all this global warming talk when they can't get the weather right when it's right on their charts.

Kathy--I may like snow but why does it have to be so cold?
Going a little cabin crazy are we?
Either of us on a toboggan? Someone better have a camera and we both better have insurance. Or make enough money from America's Funniest Home Videos to pay the doctor bills.

That's the way to do it. Sounds like a good plan!;-) We don't get snow where I live, but about 35 minutes away in the mountains,so I go there whenever I want to enjoy the snow.

We get some snow, but not much here in the valley, where I used to live up in the Foothills we got more, Mom does not like driving in snow, this is a beautiful poem.

Reminds me when I used to take my kids sled riding
had a great location within walking distance
A hilly golf course, which was very popular
within the area, after having fun and half way frozen
we walked home to hot cambells soup and grilled cheese

Well coming back from sunshinny Florida to 6inches of beautiful snow was like a breath of fresh air, but, I still miss the sunny days and lying on the beach anytime over this cold weather!!!!
