this giant spruce of enormous span one thousand years in the age of man carries on with only trust perfectly planted on a coast remote away from the pollution of haunted hosts and somewhere, sometime someone said you will be spared the long saw of men a gentle giant among younger souls exhaling oxygen to fill the air its spirit alive with cooperation and faith that it has lived its life in perfect pace and all the while the outer world is unaware and rushes on to exist and I just grin… because after we all have long been gone it will still stand and continue on
Yes, indeed, it shall stand, but I like to think we humans have a special place in this world of our also, not only the wonders of nature. Tree hugging, indeed.
