at 8,000 feet the internet stops at 10,000 feet no cell phones at 12,000 feet the trees stop growing and the mountains hold remnants of snow the rain arrives at the continental divide preventing in depth exploring however the sense and feeling wild and remote of seeing mule deer and elk wade through the waters is worthy of the rains pouring cut off for awhile is good for the soul a time to relax and let the world go sit in the hot springs and refresh the bones smell mountain air and heighten self growth in appreciation of your majestic peaks and compassion to your solitude
