millions fall from trees, vegetables, and flowers
more than, are ever gathered
more than, ever take root
nature gives in abundance, more than is ever used
I see people as seeds
millions born
more than, are ever awakened
more than, ever break free
nature gives in abundance, more than is ever needed
with each seed or person
is the potential to be something remarkable
pure creation lies within
what doesn't awaken is scattered by the wind
tucked into crevices or eaten by others
still serving, yet denied the opportunity
of being its fullest possibility
That first stanza really sets the tone - brilliant! And how true that last one - we really are here to awaken our spiritual potential, can't do it just living the sense life! Awesome poem!
to become awakened is a choice, me thinks. sadly, many are
so distracted by all things material that they never get
around to "seeing."

What an observation, Debby. Yes, we are the seeds of thisplanet that keep it going so it doesn't die. But I want to know one thing, though. Why are there seeds that don't want to take root and grow and are trying to hold the growth of the world from prospering?
