THE NIGHT I WAS BORN
Full moon, clear night, candles everywhere
Beautiful Easter Eve
Fire and water filled the church
Mysteries about to begin
A robed man said, “Kneel, my child”
Kneeling, felt the water
Float across my head
Next stop, tasting the
Savior’s body and blood
Strange, wonderful feelings
Sins were washed away
Giving myself to the Savior
My life had just begun.
My favorite kind of poem. Susan
