The wonderful feeling of a warm shower, and it's death.
SHOWER POWER
Steam comes from my bathroom shower
I step in and watch the beads hit the tile
Anticipating the fluid warmth and
As I enter a little spray tickles my nose
Water cascades all over my head, as
I take the soap and wash off the earth
from my body.
Ah, yes this is the life, the warm delicious
water, what could be more….
WHAT ON EARTH!I jump back
in the shower just as far as I can
The once pleasant water is now scalding hot
I let out a piercing scream and wonder what
went wrong.I than hear the ring of the
toilet flush, whoever killed my shower
just ruined my day.
This is when you want to murderlize someone for ruining the moment. I've had it happen to me, too, and it's NOT fun!! LOL Cute write!

What's worse: stepping into scalding hot water. Did that once; never again!! *OW* Let's just say my poor bum, my legs, and feetsies got a little red. Okay, more than a little red.. no burns, thank God, but *OW* Ohh, the pain!! I've never forgotten it!! LOL (Turns out I forgot to turn on the cold water, to make it warm; ran just hot, and it got scalding hot. Dumb me!! LOL)
Had this happen to me too, cannot seem to adjust accordingly and often get scalded by the hot water, then chilled to the bone. No inbetween til I fool with it some more. Most refreshing a shower though and I do like bubble baths too.
