Months of the year and the meaning of each one.

A turn of the page, and life’s new chapter begins.

January, a brand new year, resolutions are made, not many of them
kept, we fear.  A few more weeks in January, and we celebrate the

birth of a King who changed the world and set many free.

February is Presidents’ day as we reflect on what they’ve done

March we all turn green as St. Paddy’s day from the whole world

Is seen.

April the month our Savior arose,  He gave his all so we could
live.

Come May we remember our fallen soldiers, and thank them for what they’ve done.  We are free today from the battles that they’ve won.

June we look upon the flag and remember what it means, we too often
take from granted what it is to you and me.

July we celebrate our country’s birth while watching fireworks in the

air.   This is such a special day, but with summer’s fun, we sometimes forget to care.

August turns to September, and we enjoy one day to rest.

Soon after, children show their woes, as back to school they go

We think of the nightmare that happened to our beloved

Country not too many years ago, when twin brothers

Fell, and America was filled with rage and fear.  Days are

Getting cooler and Autumn is finally here.

The page turns once again, and we celebrate

Christopher Columbus.  Later  in October

Halloween is here.  Children dressed like ghosts and goblins

Come to and fro.  They say trick or treat, where some

Of them came from you’ll never know.

End of October, November makes its grand entrance.

We first remember our veterans and the end of a

horrible war.  When on November 11, at last the war was

No more.  Later through the month, we give thanks

For all that we have.  There is much to be thankful

For living in this great land.

The last page is turned and some say the best time of year

When people’s hearts open wide and are filled with Christmas cheer.

Old Saint Nick once more appears, and

Children behave from everywhere.  The most important

Part of this festive holiday, is the birth of our Savior born

This special day.  Families get together, some not seeing each

other throughout the year.    The snow is falling, a beautiful

sight, it’s falling faster, probably through the night.

The turning pages now come to an end.  Than January will come

And we’ll start over again.
