All Our Mothers Are Precious Especially "OUR" Mother Earth

 Mother Earth

I seen the weeping of a willow
within her earthly eyes;
A charade of eternity’s heartbeats
in her stormy skies…

Her worn carpets of fields lay bare
beneath all empyrean comforts;
Promising purity to the seasons
as her sowing bounty reasserts…

In her arms she cherishes the clay soil
birthing the lands all earthen deep;
Then hovers the effervescent sky with moon drops
when she slumbers nightfall to sleep…

There is a unique energy to this, like a fragment of a dream or something, both in how it reads and how it feels. Intiguing write, and an intriguing pic

This has become one of my all-time favorite poems. Your words and their acknowledgement of the kinship we have with Earth stir my heart. I am printing and posting this eloquent tribute ~ wonderful!

Dear Vickie,

Fertile vessel in the embrace of Gaia celebrating the seed which brings all things into life. The artistry of this powerful work takes hold in a very profound way.

MOTHER EARTH shows the answer to the question, "Why is it here and what is its purpose?" I will remember this one for weeks. The music and video on your Creative Thinkers International page rendered in fabulous, express of nature multi-media where you also have this posted is paramount to this piece. My own pleasure receptors are so alive and sensuality of intoxicating fragrances keep me in its embraces...such a goddess feel and Gaia-connected aura...gestation develops in the womb of MOTHER EARTH...Blessed Be.

Warmly,
Sage

Truly I love this poem, Vickie. I love this planet and I am greatly pained by the abuse we inflict upon it. Thank you for sharing this gift. Amour, paix et bises,

Lovely picture that should be seen and a poem that should be read by the polluters of Mother Earth, a thing that they wouldn't do with their own mothers.
