Hi All....well again this year in Canada - Ontario...it is raining on our services. Seems it always does.

Splat, plop, pitter-patter as the rain
Bounces gingerly off my window’s pane.
Tip, tippidy-tap, sounds created
To slowly and effectively drive me insane.

Birds squatting low on branches
With feathers puffed to hold warm air,
While winds whistle and howl
Stirring up a whipping and eerie scare.

Vehicles travel, headlights on
Cutting dimly into the damp landscape,
While planes detour a landing
To avoid collisions and quick escape.

Thunderous pounding rumbles
Following dancing of lightning refined,
Yet, Remembrance Day will
Be celebrated, not wetly undermined.



In memory of the forces from around
The world that have fought the valiant
Battle to gain our rights and freedoms.

May you forever be in our hearts.
