This was inspired by a daydream...
Our hearts passed once upon a time In a story book sort of way And in that moment of stand still time My heart was left to stray So straying it went in a playful way Our souls met once in the imaginary land Where a prince can cure all ill And in that land of fairy dust dreams My heart sought out a thrill So searching it went for a lasting thrill My heart awoke before its time Startled by my story's end And then my startled waking heart Was saddened to lose its friend Deadly saddened to lose its princely friend
