Forever - A Love Poem

Whenever forever enters my view,
visions of love surround
visions of you.

Caressing your memory,
with the tongue of my dreams,
thoughts run eternal
through passionate streams.

To say, I love you.
To speak your name.
To hear your voice.
To fan the flame.

Whenever I dream,
and dream I do,
our hearts are united,
with forever in view.

Unique poems come rarely. This one of yours is unique because your wordflow has a natural rhythm and the meaning of the words are sublime and precious.

Wonderfully romantic, M'Lady. One of the few redeeming traits of humanity, romance...I hope you always have it at your call. Bright blessings to you and yours, Jim.

As I just commented on Elga's poem which has a very similar theme - I hope you Dream, and Write on, Poetess - forever.

Dream on Lori. Without dreamers life would be a hollow place of existance. Whoever is the focus of this should consider the treasure at hand. I really enjoyed this one

Dear Lori,

If we are fools, for dreaming and loving, then I shall remain a fool, for I believe there is nothing more rewarding than having dreams of love, and love having dreams. Your poem touched me, the last stanza is pure joy. Thank you for sharing this beautifully written poem Lori, may all your dreams and love be fulfilled. And keep dreaming always.

Warm hugs
Elga

This is precious, Lori! Passionate and yet tender; the "heat of the moment" and enduring. Beautiful sentiments couched in deep-feather velvet rhyme! The last stanza could stand alone, I think. This speaks of a love that burns intensely and yet stays the course. Just gorgeous, thank you. LOL Kate xx
