For Matthew, Robert, Stan and Alex. Heroes who shake their heads in disbelief…

My blood ran for you, so you would be free
to call me a puppet and pawn…

My blood ran for you, so you would be free
to paint me with the brush of your weakness…

My blood ran for you, so you would be free
to call me a killer and social disease…

My blood ran for you on far away streets
so your blood wouldn’t run at home…

Love me or hate me, it’s no difference to me
I’ll continue to fight so you can be free…

I will always honor the troops who died for my right to disagree with others in a free country, where my views matter just as much as other people's views... even those who refuse to believe that I honor our troops, have always, WILL always. katy.

Beautiful write. Soldiers sacrifice their life to protect citizens so people should know that they are living in peace at the expense of their heroes' blood.

Nothing on Gods green earth gets me madder than idiots who don't understand that freedom is something that you constantly have to fight for. Our forefathers fought and died to give us the rights and freedom we have. Our past warriors gave there lives so some of these candy azzed crybaby's can whine and moan. If you turned most of them inside out the one thing you wouldn't find is GUTS. But let one tragedy happen on our soil and they're the first to scream and yell about defence. I feel sorry for anyone who loses a loved one in battle. But thats the cost of freedom. Just be thankful we're fighting on their soil and not ours. One great pen Lori
