This poem conjures up images of poetry, but also of that perfect word that is on the tip of your tongue when you are trying to communicate with someone...that word that would clarify your point perfectly...but that you can't seem to find. :~)

Sis as always you write with vigor that comes only from inside. This is great as usual. The beautiful that is, comes from those that read our works and are entertained by them. Profoundly written, Lori. Poetry with rhyme and rhythm amount to nothing. Perfection is always sought after in every poem. This is well written.

How well we can all emphazize with this poem and the lost that from time to time as you say in your poem befalls all writers. Loose your attention for a second by a phone call or door bell and they are lost forever. and yes some of the words we lose could make a difference between a poem and a great poem.

Laffin!! How true this is, Lori. My most inspired moments happen at 60 MPH on the freeway with no way to commit them to paper..sigh. It was so clear and so profound but it got lost somewhere before the offramp. Great write and one I can totally identify with.
