Your Grandfather sounds like a peaceful loving strong willed man! That loves to live the simple life ~ but enjoys hard living with appreciation. I miss my Grandpa, he passed on when I was 12yrs.

Lori,
This reminded me so much of my own grandfather. He came to live with us after Grandma passed away. As a child there was so much I took for granted about my Grandfather. He's gone now but I still have fond memories that will always linger in my mind.
