There's no turning back and its Christmas in Iraq ,and soldiers toys don't come in Santa's sack .
Terrorists have attacked , Santa's sleigh's been hijacked , oh heaven help restore peace to Iraq .
Its not all gloom and doom ,
the futures not all black ,
because soldiers are winning some respect .
Children's smiles have returned ,
Santa's sleigh has come back ,
and once again its Christmas in Iraq .

This is beautiful...and affirming that our presence did some good. I just fear for these insurgents that would cause more trouble, using their own children as human bombs...just because they can. No. I won't think of that. I will think of the smiles on these innocent children's faces, the hope for peace...excellent.
