I don’t want to be immortal Living forever while loved ones fall away I don’t want to be the strongest Never giving in to life’s great storms I don’t want to be the highest Forever above the cares of the world No I don’t want to live forever Saying goodbye to all I hold dear I don’t’ want to be an Atlas Holding the entire world on my weary shoulders Or to look down from the highest peak At everyone else down below me Just give me a place With both feet on the ground With my head out of the clouds And the strength to go on Just give me this And with this..I’ll thrive
