I went to vote and wasn’t on their list Made me wonder ‘do I really exist’ Miles and miles of names she read You are just not here she finally said But this can’t be I know I vote All the issues I know by rote Each candidate I know by name But couldn’t vote all the same Because I wasn’t on their list I’m a registered voter I still insist I vote because I know I should But all my protesting did no good You cannot vote she did insist Because your name is not on my list

sad--i've lost my voter registration card, and don't know how to get a new one--driving me crazy

it is our civic duty to vote--if one doesn't, they have no right to complain :)
