I'm really trying to get out of this morose mood but it just isnt' happening yet. bear with me, please

I’m so tired of crying
Tired of tears
That burn like acid on my cheeks
Sorrow that eats into my heart
Pouring out of my eyes
I’m tired of hurting
Caring so much and able
To do so little
I want so much to stop the pain
To make things right at last
But answers are hard to find
When the problem
Is someone you love
When your child has gone to bad
And all you can do
Is pray they will come around
And find happiness again
And your pain
Will be gone at last
The tears can stop
Unless they are tears of joy

It hurts so darn bad when someone you love is entangled within a web of evil, sickness or other bad situations! I understand your plight as presented in this pain filled and well expressed poem! We're praying that your prayers will be answered. Love and blessings!

Having raised three kids I know!
It's tough but they come back to

Sue,
I can only say that I just wish we could sit and talk a while. I raised three boys, of my own, two step-daughters and a nephew..Believe me when I say out of those six kids, they left no stone unturned..or anything else if it got in their way.
I lived in a morose mood for a good 25 years...
If you need to talk...let me know. I probably don't have a quick fix to your problems..and I'm only educated in the field by experience, but take my word for it...my credentials are listed in a very long and extended summary. I've been where you are...and you are not alone.
But writing does help...man does it ever!

I once thought my daughter was lost to the darker side. She give me no signs to believe that anything I taught her; touched her. I have shed the tears that all parents do at this time. It is diffcult and tears at our hearts and fears. Today she is a well adjusted mother of three wonderful children. All you can do is keep loving your child, do your best and the Spirit will take care of the rest.

Sue:

I can feel that you are a very good mother. I hope your daughter will see that one day and come back into your life. Not everyone can be lucky enough to have a mother like you. I can see that you care deeply about your daughter.

Hope things will get better for you and your daughter soon.

You know sometimes no matter what a parent does otherwise a child will not listen. I feel for the parents of people imprisoned because they are serving the sentence too. You know though never stop loving a child that has gone wrong or done wrong. Remember that God loves each of his children no matter what. This is very poignant Sue but then sometimes we just have to say I understand.

Epiphany by Gary Stephens

“We’re going to use nine megaton warheads in space and we’re not sure they’re large enough to be effective. Why would you even consider using kiloton-range surface-to-air warheads as back-up?” The answer was succinct. “Because they’re all we have.”
