I went for a stroll yesterday
Around this neighborhood I used to haunt
Looking for signs of life
Or at least one other than mine
I used to prowl
From street to street
Intruding quietly into their homes
Looking in from outside their windows
Wishing I could be inside
Just long enough to be a part
Of what I imagined they had
I didn’t last long, just yesterday
I wasn’t much in the mood
I was in a hurry for a change
To get home to what I know is there
No time for fantasies and games
I have a life myself, you see
I thought I had a life once, boy was I ever wrong (giggles). Very funny write sis. But I don't think we can call you a "peeping Tom" tho (giggles again). Thanx for sharing sis, I really smiled through this.
