Laid bare and no way to hide all your faults and no desire to change. When I read that last line I was touched by the bare insight into yourself and your knowledge of yourself.

The most profound sentence for me in this great poem is the last. It speaks of a woman unsure of another's reaction to her, but at the same time, quite comfortable and condident with who she is. Great piece for young women to read to boost their self-perception.

A turtle without her shell, but all the more beautiful! If you can find someone to be naked and honest with it's a blessing as there is a big cover-up in the world, as you probably know. :-)))
I know, don't you just hate it when we are seen as not worthy by someone? These are the kind you can stack BB's for and they still won't be happy! Those who look down upon us with contempt will have their day, Sue.
