I’m not arguing with the pessimists
Life sucks as a rule and just when you
Think you have it licked, it bites you in the ass
But my glass is still half full
Can’t help it, it seems to be built in
I try to be the angst filled poet
Railing against man and tide
But it just doesn’t work for me
When I’m really down, I start admiring
How things look from that angle
And before you know it, I’m okay again
That’s what this is all about
Just a message to those of you who care
I’m okay again

The glass is ALWAYS half full. True words written from the soul. You are only as weak as others want you to be. This poetry shows VERY much strength and will.

Thanks,
Emilie
