She does nothing but sit and stare
Stare at the fingers that will not type
The hands that lay useless in her lap
She stares at the keyboard
The blank, ever so white screen
That words will not fill
She stares with eyes that do not cry
But they see and what they see
Should bring the tears
She has a body
A body that once loved, felt passion
A body that pleased, both herself
And many lovers
But now she just sits and stares
At pages she cannot fill
At memories she cannot quell
Feelings she no longer knows
She finally cries
For the words that will not come
