What About the Kids

We must prepare a safe world for our children, Now! Because we are our childrens future.

Kids lost dying everywhere,

like raindrops they vanish in the air.

Except rain fills valleys, rivers, and wells,

causing flowers to sprout and bloom.

Trees crowns they  swell wheather beauty now,

on their beauty long ago once beheld!

The retort is where do the children go?

Denied the chance to flourish or grow!

When a child is in agony all must feel the pain,

a junkie or user with a needle in their vein!

An uptown call girl or whore in the night,

a starving poor person we must all feel their plight,

and for things to change we gotta fight!

One another don"t choke overcome with the vote.

Do not seperate but intergrate.

Let us not be scorned but become more informed.

We must take right in our hands and demand,

that our peers and not be steered to any,

constitutional amendment for pacification,

when the situation calls for elimination!

Our interest must be first and foremost,

especially success promoted for all kids.

And all of us being a product and example

of that institution of thinking and action.

Words are alive once they leave our mouth!

Michael,
I also write for the children. They need our voice, dear friend. Your compassion and love shows in this write, for everyone. From the lost kids to the starving poor person your compassion shows. This poem should be taped to every fridge in America. It says it all.

Many blessings,
~Linda

Such a shame that so many do not understand that God loves them all and would, I am sure, guide them all down a better, more rewarding path. Some learn, but the majority are only interested in the today. How well you pen this heartbreaking piece and may it reach the thousands who need to reach out and read it. Your shining light contunes to shine....

Be always safe,
Karen

Michael,

You've given all something to think about. Very thought provoking.

Mary
