My first wife died in child birth because she was a drug user and abuser she killed herself and our baby. But I kn0w the baby is with God and now is the time for this poem. Peace!!!

Everyone at times can use a hand,

every child, woman, and man,

and blessings embraced with deeds,

somehow bow and break those knees!

If I am where heroin treads,

I feel so beautiful high in the head.

For people like me you can't fool,

I'm super high and been to school!

Enravished now in zombie land,

the living to me are the dead.

Between the heroin and the cocaine,

I can't remember when last it rained!

Please help get this monkey off my back,

feel stiff and coated prisoned in shallac.

Ripping taking whatever I can,

drawm up over like a humped back man!

The habit now to me is king!

I am desperate and show nuff mean!

I am helpless so deep in pain,

my bones ache I'm going insane,

lost all pride and full of shame,

done my family many rotten things!

Trying hard to be cool like most folks,

sold out when I started snorting dope!

I have been with the dead to long,

with some help again I can be strong!

I have nearly lost all and that's a fact,

now God is with me His help I asked.

My people never gave up hope,

when I was plagued struck down by dope.

Now I too can be proud of my deeds,

I found the answers down on my knees!

A sad testimony for all to read, but needed to be put to pen and passed on to others. Take heed dear friends, drugs are not to be, they are so dangerous and take many good folks lives. It is so sad to end life that way.

Michael,
This is a wonderful testimony on what God can do. He can reach down and lift you up, no sin is too big for God. No one can get so far down Jesus can't reach. I think the tallest man is one on his knees. Another outstanding poem from you!

Blessings, Peace n Love,
Sister Linda
