My granddaughter Stephanie wrote this timely and affecting piece. I could not be prouder.
Won't say how old Steph is. Let's just say that a year ago November she presented Ray and I with our first
g r e a t granddaughter. Sis Debbie Jean gave us a
g r e a t grandson seven months earlier. Note the emphasis on great. Taylor Marie and Dylan share title to 8th Wonder of the World. Tell right off that they have great moms. Isn't prejudice, ask anyone who knows them. Probably embarrassing the luvs, so I'll leave it at that.. ~ Enjoy!!.
Single Petal Soothes by Stephanie Green
The sensuous smell of a flower, Oh how it turns you on. Never underestimate its power. Relish it before it is gone.
For these are the days to cherish With no more than a kiss. The flower can only flourish In the hot misty bliss
The sensuous smell of a flower Stays with you for a lifetime. Cannot fade, cannot spot, cannot sour. Staves off madness, even crime.
Always be sure to smell the flower For it is why we are here. It is the medicine that gives us the power To say no to anger, heartache, and fear.
The sensuous smell of a flower, Oh how it turns you on. Never underestimate its power. Relish it before it is gone.

Even as the last few words of this poem fade out the essence of that scent of wild roses drifts across my mind. This work is a sensual taste of life and your daughter has a true calling as a poetess. Hope we will hear more from her.
Aroma-peutic, this makes much scents/sense...Single Petal Soothes is an ad campaign for Estee Lauder! You have a great family, Pea...stopping to smell the roses is the key to longevity...
A great granddaughter and grandson, what a blessing...and I love the name...lol...I know you're proud she's sharing her poetry with you, Pea. My sons aren't even dating anyone special, much less thinking marriage and babies... so I won;t hold my breath!
