I love any poem about rain and thunderstorms. They take me back to childhood when I would sit and watch them rage from the safety of grandma's covered porch.

Just wonderful! As already said, good comparisons. I think that everyone knows about the storms of life and the turmoil that they can cause. We have talked about the storms of life many times, and I still do not understand why a complete angel (meaning you Linda)is compelled to end up with so many storms in her life. great write either way sweetness. The merging of the first two verses into the other two is very good integration. You blend in a sence of urgency and let it settle in a rainbow of inner peace.
