The Youngest Hero's
A Mother sits with tears
Holding her sons hand
Trying to find a reason
Fighting to understand
Praying for a miracle
For her five year old
Leukemia hasn't won
Or the ending told
The Youngest Hero's
An eleven year old little girl
Looks around but cannot see
On a starched white pillow
She wonders what her life will be
She can hear her Mommy crying
As her Daddy holds her hand
He tells her to be a brave girl
But she just can't understand
The Youngest Hero's
A tiny newborn baby
He was born premature
Struggling for every breath
His future rocky, so unsure
A little tiny, frail body
But a brave spirit within
Keep fighting , little one
You will win
The Youngest Hero's
Little boy in a wheelchair
Watching other kids play
No one seems to understand
What he goes through every day
The passing of time will tell
If he'll ever walk again
His eyes mirror his soul
And the pain he hides within
The Youngest Hero's
They are in hospital and homes
Take a look around
There the sick and the helpless
Can be found
Their courage speaks loudly
Through hearts that shine
These little children
Could be yours are mine...

Through our technologies, we have unleashed many causes for fetal disability. As goodhearted as most people are the best approach is good family planning. If young mothers and fathers could see the lifelong path of their baby in perspective, there is no need to use extreme measures to bring a child into the world to suffer. If there is sin, that is sin.
