Lord, this world is so bad I hang my head in shame Brother against brother Where do we put the blame Gang members line the streets Robberies happen everyday Lord, we need a healing Christians bow your head and pray Children taking guns to school Where's the lock and key Homeless hide in the alleys Hoping no one will see Our little ones being abused Their voices go unheard How sad they have to live this way Hurting, crying and scared Veterans now in wheelchairs Wounded in the war How many salute and honor them Or know what they stand for Lord, send down a miracle Take away the hate Lord, grant us a healing Before it is too late... Why throw it on the Lord? What are we going to do about it? And, all is not as hopeless as it seems. Last year was the best year ever by many parameters. We are getting better all the time. And we are especially better at finding out bad stuff and fixing it when in the past it stayed hidden and was never fixed.
