Just a fun tale about a little mermaid....for the young and young at heart......like me!! (I never intend to grow up)

In the deep blue sparkling sea,
Whimsy sings a melody.
Emerald eyes and skin so fair,
Sunbeams dance on golden hair!
A mermaid, she’s a fairy of sorts,
Except she lives in the sea, of course!
She leaves no footprints in the sand,
But that’s not hard to understand,
Mermaids don’t have any feet,
But their lower half is really neat.
For where there should be little toes,
Are tails and fins, as everyone knows!
Down on the beach, now and then,
Whimsy likes to make new friends.
In the sand, whenever she’s near,
You’ll find a trail of happy tears.
Rainbow colours of sparkling gems,
She leaves behind for her friends.
This tale is true , every word,
For Whimsy’s song I have heard!
If you listen to the sea,
You will hear the same as me.
So at the beach, whatever you do,
Search for the gifts she left for you!

How absolutely delightful! If you had the proper illustrations, this could be a child's book. Lovely, Annabel, lovely.
