Wonderful poem, Anna, my far northern friend. I truly miss the Christmas' when my four children were children when my four children, my parents, my wife and my brother and his wife would spend the entire morning opening gifts, even having to take a break for lunch then go back to it. Parents are now gone, my brother and sister-in-law live in San Francisco while my kids are scattered about. This is the first year without any of my family and, oh yes, I do miss our old Christmas'.
