The Strangest Dream

In bed, lost in the strangest dream
Things weren't quite as they seem
My honey morphed into a mouse
Leaving a cheese trail through the house
I felt a tickling in my toes
And then I felt it on my nose
I started laughing then saw ants
Crawling out of my shirt and pants
An in that instant in a fuss
Jumped out of bed, began to cuss
Hoping the ants would smell the cheese
And run away from me with ease
And then together right on cue
The ants all vanished from my view
I saw them running through the house
Collecting cheese, chasing the mouse
The alarm then rang and I awoke
But what I saw was not a joke
The ants were crawling all around
And then I heard a squeaking sound
I thought was coming from a mouse
Hidden somewhere in my house
But it turned out to be my honey
Passed out, snoring really funny
I started tickling his toes
And then I went and pinched his nose
He kept on snoring, didn't wake
I knew what waking him would take
Gave him a kiss and he woke up
And then my dream came to a stop
