A storm ensues and intensifies. ..

The sun had been out For most of the day A storm was in the making Clouds looked like burnt Marshmallows on the edges And getting darker by the minute Thunder and lightening transpired Sounding like a symphony. .. Drums and cymbals The rain started out Trickling and then bursted To a full downpour It looked like twilight Even though it was 3:00 p.m. You could see. .. Shadows of Night

Yes the darkness, and you can feel the rain...I am drenched! The shadows of night in mid-afternoon...very evocative!
