The swaying of trees...

Poem Artwork

Spring's shadow
Came upon

The morning dew
While she walked
Among the grass...

The swaying of trees
Introduced the winds of summer
Slipping sandals off

The sand was cool
Footprints left behind

Fall brought color
And falling leaves
Cooler temperatures
Taffy apples, cider,
Burning leafs

Come winter
The snows
Are a white blanket
Covering mountains, hills and plains
Low temperatures, frost and ice

What is special-
All the seasons
Differ...
We each have our favorite
Mine happens to be fall...   ..   .

I prefer fall as well. Nicely expressed. Thank you for sharing. Love and best wishes,

A quick trip through the year, all seasons to enjoy for different reasons.

I happen to like summer best, and your poem supports me: slipping sandals off, footprints left behind, that's great. But you manage to give each of them something to love...

Yup.Yup Fall is my favorite . . . I guess I relate because I'm in the Fall of my life. When I turn the corner to Winter it will seal my fate.
