Nature can be brutal and
complimented to life's obstacles.

Poem Artwork

At a distance we came upon
Mother Nature's realm-
Our limbs and souls tire,
As though,
We were the oldest of trees
Going through another storm
Whether it be the human condition
Or,
Nature's vengeance...
Instinctive survival
Carries us

Instinctive survival is why we're still here..

Survival brings out the absolute best in us. Most of us rise to the occasion and take care of business and learn from it.

The instinct foe survival is not only in humans, it is in the nature as well. If the nature has a voice, it would be crying in agony now, considering how much of it has been destroyed already by the insensitive humans.

I suppose that without that instinct to survive, creatures living today would not be here. Too bad humans have such a destructive nature. Thank you for sharing, Deborah. Love and best wishes,
