It will creep up Upon us Like a hunter Stalking its prey The leaves all fallen, Dead with decay- Winds become colder, Temperatures dropping Day after day Old man winter Sticks his head Out from the clouds- Calendar in hand Circles December 21st, Winter snows begin

Quite warm its been here in Joisey, no snow, only rain, so far...I just hide in my little cave, I don't need to go out, for me thats plain...

I know the thought and know the winters bite. Too bad we can't all be insulated like some animals. Or so painfully aware of what comes our way. Winter's only a short time and it has it's pleasures also. Bob

We've had our First Snow, and I think it was beautiful, as I do every First Snow every year. And every Holiday Season I sing Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

As barren as the winter landscape is, it's a wonder that any of us survive after Christmas. That's why I'm now permanently in the snowless South.

We don't get much snow down heah in tha swamp, some every so often, but not every year. We do, however, get cold, well cold for us, people like Jane in Ohio snigger when I say it is cold at fifty degrees. Heh.Heh
