I have seen red breasted robins...Spring
has Sprung!

Poem Artwork

Corridors of trees
Sprouting buds
Becoming leaves

Paths can be seen
Again-
Where footsteps made history.. .

Doves cooing. . .
Love comes into play,
Springtime-
Hearts become enthralled
Every single day... .. .

When I first moved here, robins came every spring. But the suburban development must have caused them to change their migratory pattern, because I haven't seen them since.

I haven't seen a red breasted robin either, although I've seen thousands with orange breasts. ;-)

When I was a child, I had a theory that robins were growing larger every year and would soon be the size of chickens. I'm glad they didn't, because like woodcock, their diet consists of primarily angle worms, and they would not, "taste like chicken." ;-)

My robins have returned as well - Spring is truly in the air.

It's having a bit of a hard time coming to N.E. Ohio although we have had warm days here and there. In your poem, I am walking down that corridor of trees to the paths I hike. I can hear the doves as well. Fine writing!!

Love ya!
